About Discount Medical Supply of Florida
Discount Medical Supply of Florida has been family-owned since 1987. Today it’s run by Dean, who’s worked in medical supply since he was thirteen, learning the business alongside his father. The store is AHCA-accredited in Florida.
That’s the short version. The longer version is that Dean grew up around this business the way some people grow up around a family restaurant or a farm — it was just what his family did, and by the time he was old enough to take it over, he’d already spent years learning what actually helps someone find the right piece of equipment.

It means one showroom instead of a five-city chain, and an owner who’s still personally handling deliveries decades in. When you call, you’re usually talking to Dean or someone who’s worked alongside him for years — not a rotating call center.

Every item Discount Medical Supply sells or rents is new — never used, never resold. When you buy or rent here, you know exactly what you’re getting. It’s a policy we’re upfront about, even when it’s not the easiest thing to bring up, because when it’s your safety, or a parent’s, that clarity matters.

We refer all repairs to trusted local partners and honor every manufacturer’s warranty. We don’t perform repairs in-house — but we’ll always help you figure out the right next step if something breaks.
